From St. Johns Ambulance explained the basic things needed to be prepared for any emergency situation such as fire safety. He added that convection of fire causes the issues of fire moving quickly up the floors of a story building.
He also advice that in the event of fire do not jump from the top floor of a building window and recommended that before we go to bed we need to carry out some basic checks.
Fire Plan at home – such as use of wet towels, check escape routes and make sure your mobile phone is with you at all time. Emergency number to dial – 112 (fire and police)
